People using ski hire in Val d’Isere in the coming weeks are in for a real culinary treat, according to one source.
Taking place throughout the resort between March 15th and 20th, the Pistes Gourmandes, La Cuisine Pure event will see some of the top chefs on the continent descend on Val d’Isere to create some of the finest food around, said Emma Powell, a spokeswoman for Grifco.
Chefs including Yves Thuries, Guy Martin, Michel Roth and Jacques Pourcel will be in attendance, allowing people to sample some excellent food while placing a focus on sustainability.
"In recent years Val d’Isere has become a gastronome’s paradise with a tantalising collection of critically acclaimed restaurants including the Michelin-starred La Table de l’Ours," Ms Powell said.
Meanwhile, Tom Brewster, a ski hire users and keen snowboarder, recently said that a trip to Val d’Isere was one of the best experiences of his life.
