People using ski hire in Val Thorens in the coming weeks will find plenty to keep them entertained, one source has said.
OntheSnow.com said that the third edition of the Festi’ValTho music festival from March 17th to 19th will be an event not to be missed, with a mixture of winter sports action and great music combining to keep the party going all day and night.
"Festi’ValTho is a public event built around music and sport. It is billed as a celebration of snow and the onset of spring. Highlights of the event include freestyle competitions with open-air concerts, DJs, and shows," it said.
The source added that ski hire users in search of a different kind of action may wish to attend the North Face challenge, which takes place between March 26th and 28th and will see some of the world’s best daredevil climbers attempt to ascend a vertical ice face.
Adventurous ski hire users in Val Thorens can now try their hand at high-altitude downhill skiing at night, an activity which begins 3,000m up at the Peclet Glacier.
