When your skis or snowboards come out of the factory, the bases are always ground flat, structured and waxed; the edges are sharpened to 90 degrees. Unfortunately this will not last forever. Usually, after just one week, your equipment will have base damage or burred edges. This will affect its performance.
Regularly serviced equipment will have an extended life, making your skis and boards easier to use. This in turn will improve your confidence and performance and let you get the best out of your equipment!

skis the best possible edge finish using it's ceramic discs and precise geometry.
Visit the Shop
Drop off your skis or boards at either Crawley , Watford or Knockhatch and collect them at your convenience, either from the same shop or one of the many collection points. Please allow a minimum of 3 working days for a service.
Mail Order Servicing
Simply phone 01293 649300 or email info@edge2edge.co.uk and we will arrange for your skis or snowboard to be collected, serviced and returned to you within 5 working days. A full service costs just £39 for skis and £45 for a snowboard including postage and packing. Please remove your snowboard bindings before posting. Please give us at least 48hrs notice for collection.

What do we do?
- Clean the base by removing old wax
- Repair any holes or scratches by filling them with p-tex (Full service only)
- Take of excess p-tex leaving a flat surface (Full service only)
- Stone grind the skis with a diamond finish
- Sharpen the base edge
- Sharpen the Side edge
- Machine wax the base
- Structure and polish the base

Patch Repair
If your base on your ski or snowboard has suffered serious damage we can put in a patch with similar material. A technician will advise you whether this can be done, as your equipment will require sufficient edge for the base to bond with.
Edge Repair
If you edge has been damaged or broken it is possible to replace a section of the edge. A technician will advise you whether this can be done, as your equipment will require sufficient edge to align with. Please note that a repaired edge will not be as strong as the original edge.
Helicoil Repair
If a screw holding the binding to the ski cannot be tightened it is possible to insert a plug (similar to a rawlplug) in the ski and then when the screw is tightened it will grip and hold the binding in place.
